On 21st December Leicester South foodbank held its annual Christmas Party at The King Centre in Wigston.
Over 30 people attended the party with one of the volunteers Julie acting as resident DJ. The guests were treated to some live singing by Martin and some delicious food that had been prepared by the staff.
The Party was to celebrate the fantastic volunteers that give up their time to support Leicester South foodbank throughout the year.
This year with the support of the amazing volunteers Leicester South foodbank have helped 17,320 people and have moved and sorted over 300,000kg of stock.
Bruce Harrison Operational Manager said ‘Without the help of our volunteers we would not be able to continue supporting as many people as we have over the last 12 months, thank you so much for giving up your time’
