Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

Like many food banks we have collection points in Asda and Tesco stores. The agreement with these stores are that these points are intended for donations of food that have been purchased in that store, as we record the weight of such donations back to Tesco and Asda. Items purchased from another store can be placed in our collection bin at the Kings centre or contact us and we will pick them up or . I know this may seem excessive when all you want to do is donate, but Asda and Tesco are extremely generous to us and we want to respect their methods. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you so much for donating to help members of your community who are finding it hard to put food on the table, you are making a difference.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
