Charity Curry Night raises £1646 for Leicester South Foodbank

We would like to say a big THANK YOU on behalf of the Foodbank Trustees, volunteers and recipients to all those that supported the charity curry night. Through ticket sales, donations ( from people who wanted to come but couldn’t make it on the night), raffle proceeds, donations on the night, auction promises and Cuisine of India donation of a percentage of bar receipts, we raised £1646. All of this money will be used to help local people in crisis and will support the Foodbank expand the help it provides. Thank you!

The way it works is really simple, but great…
1. You register on the link provided ( easy- just give email and set up a password)
2. When you want to buy something online, you log in to the site and then click on an icon to enter the retailers site and make your purchase as normal
3. The cost of the goods to you is exactly the same, but the retailer makes a donation to Leicester South Foodbank
So basically just by doing your usual online shopping ( but logging in to the link above first) you can help feed hungry people in Leicestershire. You will see on the link all the major retailers are there, and there is also a price comparison feature. What an easy way to give something back.
