Current Needs

The Leicester South Foodbank (Kings Centre, Wigston base) is currently in need volunteers to help out on either our Monday evening (6-7pm) or Thursday lunch (1-2pm) sessions.  This can involve a variety of tasks from sorting stock, making up food parcels, making tea and coffee for those that come along or having a chat with people.  If this sounds like something that you would like to get involved with, please contact us on [email protected] or call 07973 145019.

If you are unable to volunteer but would like to donate food to help those that are currently struggling to feed themselves and their family, we would really appreciate this.  Currently we are in particular need of tins of tomatoes, meat, soup and cartons of orange and apple juice.  Donations of food can be dropped off at The Kings Centre, Wigston or popped into one of our collection baskets.  Many thanks in advance for your help.
