Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. Packer Volunteer

The Warehouse Packer role at Leicester South Food Bank is a vital position that supports the smooth operation of the food bank. Volunteers are responsible for packing food parcels and additional items in the warehouse, ensuring that donations are organized and ready for distribution to those in need.

Volunteer Driver

The Leicester South Foodbank offers opportunities for drivers to play a vital role in their operations. As a food bank driver, you would transport food donations from collection points like supermarkets, schools, and churches to the warehouse for sorting and then deliver them to local food bank centres. This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least two years of driving experience, and the physical ability to lift and load crates of food.

Warm Space Volunteer
