Packer and Sorter Volunteer

As a key part of our food bank team, you’ll help ensure that food donations reach those in crisis quickly and efficiently. This role involves both sorting donations and packing food parcels, and you’ll be trained to do both—so you can step into whichever area is most needed that week.

Whether it’s checking expiry dates, weighing and recording stock, or assembling parcels with care, your attention to detail and willingness to get stuck in will make a real difference. The role is physically active, with time spent on your feet and some heavy lifting, all while helping maintain a clean and safe warehouse.

If one task feels like too much, no worries—you can focus on the area that suits you best. We’re a team, and we support each other to get the job done.
